Mads Dall is managing partner and CEO of Dall & Company ApS, an international business development boutique with significant China expertise. Dall & Co. ApS works primarily with well established companies that want to enter new categories, challenge existing business models or industry structures and grow internationally either through partnering, M&A or organically.
Mads has spent most of his international business career with Danish pharmaceutical multinational, Novo Nordisk A/S . Today Mads is also Chariman of the Board of Asia Base A/S , a leading China-entry management consulting company .
Throughout his career Mads has been involved in various aspects of management and business development. He has extensive experiences with successfully building and leading high-performance organizations.
Mads has lived 5 years in China, and is fluent in Chinese. In the mid-nineties he was responsible for building Novo Nordisk’s pharma sales and operations organization in China .
Based at Novo Nordisk headquarters in Denmark since 1997, Mads has worked within International Business Development, Licensing, Global Sales and Marketing Management, Project Management and R&D.
From 1999 Mads was Vice President with responsibilities within alliance management, project management and development of medical devices. During that period he was leading the development and launch of InDuo® in collaboration with a Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) company, California based LifeScan Inc.. InDuo® was the first in a new category of integrated diabetes management devices, designed to help people with diabetes lead a better life.
As Vice President within Novo Nordisk R&D 2001-05, Mads was responsible for Novo Nordisk's development of glucose monitoring technologies, integrated insulin delivery devices and diabetes information management systems.
